A new product for 2009, Mines has developed in collaboration with the Mooncraft the Mines Carbon Engine Cover. A twilled dry-carbon has been chosen as the perfect material for excellent heat dissipation and its “exceptional lightness” along with a high-class appearance. This design will dramatically enhance the look of your GTR engine bay. Installation is an easy bolt-on system.

Carbon Rear Wing Cover

The Mines dry carbon Rear Wing Cover is a joint achievement with the legendary high technology in race car design of Mooncraft and the accumulated race track & street expertise of Mines.

There were three key factors that were well thought out during the designing stage. First is the aero-dynamic effectiveness of the wing, and second is the ease of installation and lastly the enhanced appearance of your GTR. The unique “Gurney shape” produces an ideal down force as this product is installed by sandwiching the stock wing with the Mines Carbon Rear Wing Cover. The Mines Carbon Rear Wing Cover is then secured by special bolts and double-sided tape on your stock wing.

The beautiful twilled carbon is clear coated for UV-blocking which keeps the excellent appearance over time.

Carbon Mirror Surround

The Carbon Mirror Surround was produced by a collaboration between Mooncraft and Mines similar to the Mines Carbon Engine Cover. Made of twilled dry carbon, the aero dynamically designed cover significantly reduces drag. With the gorgeous carbon look it will enhance your GTR’s appearance.

Installation is easy as the cover is attached over your stock mirror.

Dry Carbon Hood

This beautiful hood is made of twilled dry carbon and it weighs only 5.2 kg which is 57 % lighter than the stock (the weight of the stock hood is 12.1 kg). The shape is very similar to the stock with the air intake ducts integrated into the hood. It is designed to work with the stock latch and the installation is very easy.

The hood is available with or without Mines super clear coating.

Dry Carbon Hood Type II      New

One of the problems of increasing the engine power is how to deal with the heat. In order to maximize the potential of GT-R, this hood is designed for maximum weight reduction and effective heat control. At the same time, the hood boasts a factory-like external beauty with Mines superb quality..

The hot air is led though the airflow guide and is vented from the exhaust ducts on the hood. The external duct has a drain channel to protect the engine room from rain.

Made of twilled dry carbon, the construction is similar to the Carbon Hood Type I with the reinforced inner rib and a honeycomb structure to achieve the highest strength to weight ratio. The weight of the hood is 5.2 kg which is the 57 % weight reduction from the stock.

Available either with Mines super clear coating or without it. If you are to paint the hood, please choose the one without the clear coating.

Dry Carbon Sidestep       New

The extended step portion minimizes the airflow into the undercarriage. The well thought-out design maintains the harmony with the Mines front and rear spoiler.

Carbon Door       New

The Carbon Door is designed with the weight reduction as the main objective. However, every effort has been made to make the texture and function as close as the stock door. With Mines legendary quality, all the stock parts fit perfectly and you can feel the superb construction whenever you open/close the door.

The weight of each door is 3.2 kg which is about 1/3 of the stock door.

Carbon Underspoiler      New

In addition to the beautiful race-car-like rear view, the underspoiler provides an excellent weight reduction.
